We've had it professionally decorated with high end finishing throughout. It’s fully loaded with everything you might need and want from preparing a Thanksgiving meal to enjoying a day on the beach. All new floors, lighting, paint, a complete kitchen makeover including stainless appliances, top of the line kitchen wares, a coffee bar, as well as all new furniture throughout the house and smart TV's in every room! We've got decks on every floor for multiple hangout areas to enjoy panoramic water views from the ocean to the sound side of the island.
Take advantage of our heated pool in the spring and fall months. The elevator is a big hit, especially for elderly parents and for easily bringing up groceries, luggage, and all your gear. The elevator goes from the ground floor, with easy access for wheel chairs, and accesses each floor inside all the way to the top level.
We have 5 large bedrooms- each with new beds and plush comfortable mattresses. Four of the bedrooms have plush new king mattresses and beds with en suites, awesome ocean front and/or sound side water views. We also have a double bunk kids room on the lower level, adjacent to the downstairs game room with a bar and pool table, laundry room with a large new washer and dryer, and all new furniture throughout! The fenced in heated pool is right off the side deck. You are directly on the beach with unobstructed wide open ocean views and just a few houses north of the Rodanthe Pier.
We supply: all linens, beach and pool towels, plenty of bath towels, toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, brand new stocked kitchen wares. We have complimentary spa packs for shampoos, conditioners, body washes and more for you. We have all new beach umbrellas, beach chairs, Turkish beach towels, boogie boards, a soft top surfboard, a beach pull wagon, corn hole, and kid and adult beach games. We have plenty of "beach cruiser bikes" including helmets so you and your family can explore our wonderful neighborhoods, bike paths, boutiques, shopping, and ice cream nearby.
No long hikes to the beach either, you're directly on it! After playing all day in the ocean, come relax poolside in our recliner chairs, grab a beverage, forget your worries and soak in the refreshing pool until sunset. Fire up the grill and enjoy some local caught tuna steaks, lobster, crabs, or the local catch of the day here in the Outer Banks.
If you're tired of all the old, outdated, run down beach houses, then Wave House will knock your socks off! We hope you love it as much as we do!
HOUSE RULES
1. Guest is required to sign a Rental Agreement and provide names and ages of all persons staying in the home. A Security Deposit hold of $1,000 is required to be processed on Guest's credit card. This security hold will need to be processed a week prior to check in, is in addition to your total costs, and is released about 10 days after checkout if there are no damages or excess cleaning costs. No unregistered guest are allowed. Additional guests will be charged at $100 per guest per night.
2. No smoking anywhere on property. If any of your guests smoke inside the house you will be charged a $750.00 Ozone cleaning fee.
3. No parties. If you host a party with unregistered guests you will be charged $100 per guest, a $600 additional cleaning fee, and will be evicted immediately.
4. No pets allowed. Sorry. If you bring a pet you will be charged $750.00 plus an additional $500.00 ozone and cleaning fee and will be evicted immediately.
5. Quiet time in between 10:00pm-7:00am.
6. No wet towels or wet clothing on the furniture.
7. External doors and sliders must remain closed at all times while the AC is running. The units will freeze up and shut down, if doors are left open. Repairing an AC during the summer can take a week or more on the Outer Banks, and we don't want you to be without AC during your stay.
8. Toilet paper is the ONLY thing to be flushed down the Toilet.
9. No food or waste to be put in the kitchen sink drain. There is NO garbage disposal. (Most beach homes in the OBX are on septic and cannot accommodate garbage disposals)
10. Please do not use the white towels to remove makeup. We provide makeup removal wash cloths for this. Makeup will stain the white towels and then we will have to charge you $35.00 per towel.
11. NO GLITTER/NO DYE: Glitter is almost impossible to remove and will result in a $1,000 fine to cover excess cleaning. Do not use any temporary or permanent hair dye or other dye products in the rental. Evidence of dye will result in a $500 fine or more if damage occurs to sink, floors, carpets, etc. Primary contact is responsible for all guests along with anyone who enters the home during the stay to abide by these rules.
POOL RULES
1. No Glass in/around the pool area. We charge $1,000 to remove broken glass. So please No Glass around the pool.
2. No Diving
3. Swim at your own risk.
4. Pool Heating is additional $600/week. Must notify 3 days prior to arrival.
5. Pool tech will be on property to service pool mid-week of each stay.
HOT TUB RULES:
✴No glass near the hot tub area.
✴No diving or jumping into the hot tub.
✴Use the hot tub at your own risk.
✴Do not tamper with the hot tub controls.
✴Shower before entering the hot tub.
✴Keep the hot tub cover on when not in use.
✴Limit hot tub usage to a reasonable duration and temperature not over 104 degrees Fahrenheit.
✴Do not add any chemicals or substances to the hot tub.
✴No food or drinks allowed in the hot tub.
✴Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
✴Do not use the hot tub if you have open wounds or infections.
✴Report any issues or malfunctions with the hot tub to the property manager immediately.
✴No glass near the hot tub area.
✴No diving or jumping into the hot tub.
✴Use the hot tub at your own risk.

Using the Outdoor Grill :
1. The grill is yours to use. Please remove food and large debris and scrub the grates with the grill brush (located under the sink / in the grill tool pouch) right after use while it’s still warm.
2. Empty the grease tray into the small metal bucket under the grill and close the lid. Do not pour grease down drains.
3. We provide: grill brush, mild dish soap, disposable gloves, and a metal bucket for grease/ash.
Please note: If you leave the grill heavily soiled (grease, charred food, or grease pooled around the area), an extra-cleaning charge may apply. Please message us if you need help. Thank you! Cleaning briefly after use helps keep the grill safe and ready for the next guests!
